Singapore Airlines runs one of the most structured selection processes in aviation, typically three to four rounds across a recruitment event and the weeks after: a height check, a self-introduction or small-group round, a debate round where candidates discuss a topic while assessors watch how they reason and listen, a management interview, and a grooming check that can include a kebaya fitting. The whole process commonly takes two to four weeks with medical clearance. Assessors are explicit that they score natural communication, grace under pressure and service mindset over rehearsed answers, and answers are expected to stay under a minute.
