Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew Interview Questions & Process
Height Check · Debate Round · Management Interview
Updated August 2026Singapore Airlines runs one of the most structured selection processes in aviation, typically three to four rounds across a recruitment event and the weeks after: a height check, a self-introduction or small-group round, a debate round where candidates discuss a topic while assessors watch how they reason and listen, a management interview, and a grooming check that can include a kebaya fitting. The whole process commonly takes two to four weeks with medical clearance. Assessors are explicit that they score natural communication, grace under pressure and service mindset over rehearsed answers, and answers are expected to stay under a minute. This page covers each round and the questions candidates report.
The cost of walking in unprepared
Answers are expected under a minute — shorter than the Gulf-carrier norm — so a rehearsed, long answer reads as exactly the opposite of what SIA scores. The debate round in particular judges reasoning and listening, never which side of the topic you argue.
